The Kyoto Kyocera Museum of Art is pleased to announce the following exhibition.
In this age of increasing awareness of the global environment and evolving technology, the state of human society is changing dramatically, and because we live in an era that demands new perspectives, the importance of what human beings can do is being reexamined. This exhibition will be curated by Noriko Kawakami (, a visiting professor at Musashino Art University (, and supervised by Noriko Kawakami ), who has conducted extensive research and contemplation centering on design, and will feature 20 up-and-coming Japanese artists in art and design who are developing remarkable activities with flexible ideas while being conscious of the history of humans and the earth. We will feature 20 up-and-coming artists ( individuals ・ and teams ) in the field of art and design, who have been working remarkably with flexible ideas, while being conscious of the history of humans and the earth.
Noriko Kawakami ( Supervisor of this exhibition, Visiting Professor at Musashino Art University )
After working in the editorial office of the design magazine "AXIS", she became an independent journalist in 1994 and has worked as an associate director of 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT He has also been involved in exhibition planning as an associate director of 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT since 2007. Outside of the museum, he has curated "100 Contemporary Japanese Designs" ( organized by the Japan Foundation ) co-curated "Japon-Japonismes, objets inspirés, 1867-2018" ( at the Musée des Arts Decoratifs, Paris, 2018
